THE WORKING WATERFRONT

The Working Waterfront celebrates the people and industries that shape National City’s shoreline. The mural features imagery representing cargo shipping, dock work, tugboat crews, and shipbuilding, emphasizing the essential roles these trades play in the region’s identity. By focusing on the individuals behind the work, the design highlights the diversity, skill, and pride of the community that keeps the waterfront alive and thriving.
