FLORA EX MACHINA
Located inside the STARLINK HQ in Bastrop, Texas. This piece is about how life keeps going. Not through nostalgia, but by moving forward and finding new ground. It imagines Earth’s biodiversity extending into space the same way our infrastructure already has, intentionally and with purpose. Starlink and SpaceX aren’t icons here. They’re tools. Systems that move data today and could one day help move life beyond Earth. Machines don’t replace nature. They support it long enough for something resilient and older to take hold. At its core, Flora Ex Machina is about partnership. Technology clears the way. Life does the rest.
